Beano's

Beano's is the largest building in the ville; a long, rambling brick and wood two story structure covered with adobe and attached to a four bay garage.  A big neon sign that simply say "EAT" is large letters stands on the roof on the restaurant side.  If you need a hot meal or need your ride fixed, Bean's is the place to go. It is run by the owner, Charlie "Beano" Benardino and his wife Kathy ("Kat"), and is a combination bar/restaurant and repair shop/garage.
The restaurant and bar area is quite large and has enough table and chairs to seat about 150  people if you really crammed them in.  A small upraised stage area complete with a crude sound system is against one wall  There is usually some sort of nightly entertainment (one fairly regular act is a blind, old black man known only as "Wheezer" who plays and sings eclectic sets of different types of pre-war music on a beat up guitar). Electricity and lights are provided by the town generator.  While it doesn't have air-conditioning (yet - Beano has been working on it) there are several large ceiling fans to stir the air and smoke around.  The kitchen and storage areas are located behind the bar.  Trade being as good as it is (paticularly with Oracle), Beano's offers an excellent selection of primarily Tex-Mex fare (including an assortment of vegetables, some fruit and baked goods) daily from around dawn until 3 A.M..  The bar is well stocked too - several pre-war alchoholic and non-alchoholic beverages are available at standard prices.  However, Beano's is really known for its beer.  Beano is an excellent brewer and keeps no less than four of his own home-brews on tap: Beano Brown Ale, Dango Pilsner, Ghostrock Stout and Deadguy Ale.  Meal chits from the Busted Nut can be used only on daily specials and the cheaper home-brews.  As with the majority of the merchants in Dango, ammunition is the prefered form of currency.  Without a meal chit, meal prices range from $1 to upwards of $100 depending upon what is asked for (daily specials tend to run in the $2 to $5 range, however).  The home-brew beers are sold by the pint at $2, $2, $5 and $10 respectively.  Because of the large number of customers, Beano is always on the lookout for additional cutlery, glass and dishware, and meals are served upon an interesting collection of plates.
Beano himself usually tends bar, while his wife runs the kitchen.  Kat keeps some livestock in an enclosed aread behind the restaurant (a few cows, several pigs and chickens) and also breeds a mutant red-eyed, albino variety of desert hare she calls "hoppers" (just like a normal hare, but the size of a poodle).  Beano employs several girls from the ville as serving girls, including a couple of the more enterprisingyoung ladies from the Busted Nut.  There are usually at least four members of the ville sec force on hand at night to act as bouncers.  Above the restaurant is more storage and Beano and Kat's private rooms.  The couple is very popular among the townsfolk.
The assistant bartender/cook is a mysterious fellow with a bizarre accent known only as "Mr. Coco".  Mr. Coco is the former leader of the tiny ville of Rainor, Arizona which was recently destroyed by an army of mutants led (rumor has it) by one of Silas' Doompriests.  Many of the survivors of Rainor now live in Dango.  Mr. Coco is an excellent cook with obvious professional training in a variety of styles, but his speciality is a marinated meat dish he calls his "kickin' party spedies" (the recipe for which he keeps fanatically secret).  He is under the employ of Beano and has his own home in the ville.
The garage section of Beano's can reached either through the garage bays or through the back of the restaurant.  The garage is filled with a variety of gear and tools for repair work, including a functional hydraulic lift.  Only three of the bays are available for repair work; the fourth, closest to the restaurant, is filled with Beano's storage tanks and brewing equipment.  At any time, chances are that one of the three remaining bays will contain one of the ville's six sec vehicles, in for repairs.  While Beano owns the building, the shop is run by the ville mechanic, Earl "Midas" Malloy.  Malloy tries to keep the garage well stocked with parts.  There is a pretty good chance he'll have a needed piece for repairs or modifications to a vehicle if its not weapons related (8 in 10 for common, 5 in 10 for uncommon, 1 in 10 for rare - Marshal's discretion).  Unlike most merchants in Dango, Malloy will first opt to trade in parts for his services, the value depending of course upon the services required.  He refuses to work on vehicle weapons, but has no qualms regarding armor.  Malloy does make spook juice, but usually only keeps enough on hand for the ville vehicles.  He will trade it however, at a slightly increased rate ($15/gallon).  Most estimates that Malloy gives are about %20 higher than actual cost and he doesn't haggle - he's the only game in town and he knows it.  There is an 20 vehicle lot to the rear of the garage surrounded by a high chain link fence topped with barb-wire.  The ville vechilces are kept here, and traveller's rides can be stored here securely at the cost of $10/day.  The lot is part of the normal ville security patrol.  Malloy has two assistants that work for him, and he has his own home in the ville.
