Charlie "Beano" Benardino - junker/restauranteur

Description: Beano appears to be in his early 40's and has a tall wiry build with a rock hard "beer belly".  He has deep brown eyes set in a deeply tanned and wrinkled face.  His long curly black hair (usually tied back in a pony tail) shows a lot wore grey than it used to, and even his full beard and moustache are showing signs of "salt and pepper".  Beano usually wears jeans, flannel shirts with sut off sleeves and work boots - many have commented that he looks more like a lumberjack than a bar owner.  While working at the bar he usually also wears a stained leather apron.  He always seems to have a random tool shoved in his back pocket and has a habit of doodling invention ideas on any surface that's available when and idea strikes him.  Very friendly and easy going (favorite phrase is "Hey - No Problem!"), Beano is a gracious host and likes to be sure that everyone is having a good time - so long as they're relatively well-behaved and they can pay.  He enjoys talking about beer, inventions and trading shop talk with other junkers (though he's not wild about gun spirits).  He has developed a severe hankerin' for the beers he brews (Veteran).  Beneath the bar, Beano keeps his shotgun and a long piece of hickory wood (his "behave stick").  Very popular with the townsfolk, Beano pays taxes to the ville for both the restaurant and garage and is also one of the Sheriff's advisors on the Ville Council.  He is a member of the SOS.

Kathy "Kat" Benardino - (former) savage/cook

Description: Kat has a short, muscular build and appears to be in her mid-20's.  She is very pretty and has long blond hair (usually tied back in a pony tail), light blue eyes, and deeply tanned skin.  Her arms, shoulders and backs of her hands are covered in swirling black "tribal" symbolic tatoos (former Little Kidder - Kidder colors worn on back at center of shoulder blades).  She is well known around the ville for her uncanny reflexes and tracking abilities.  Kat can't read or write past the items on the menu, but Beano continues to teach her.  She isn't very good with machines either; Beano is always having to fix something she's broken in the kitchen while trying to work it (Veteran - bollixed).  This has led to several humerous (and a few dangerous) incidents in the kitchen.  With a lot of practice and instruction she has gotten better at most of the common kitchen gadgets (no penalty from all thumbs on common kitchen gagdets).  Despite these problems, she is a good cook and runs an organized kitchen (although she does sometimes defer to Mr. Coco's expertise).  Kat usually wears jeans, running shoes and t-shirts.  She is a very cautious, serious and quiet woman; always has her brass knuckles and a few throwing knives concealed on her person.  She is good friends with Mr. Coco (he makes her laugh and she likes his magic tricks). Very devoted to her husband. Along with her husband, Kat is also one of the Sheriff's advisors on the Ville Council.  She was one of The Old Man's original travelling companions before coming to Dango.
