To me, this book was a find! I had long since wanted for a good droid sourcebook. This one filled the expectation I had of it, and more. If you want to play a droid, or make a droid, this book is for you!
This book is nothing but droids. It makes no bones about it. You start off with a brief summary on the makers of droids, and what is and is not kosher with droids, and then sets you into the meat and potatoes of it all. Choose you droid type, then start packing on the goodies!
Big important thing here: Make sure you read all of the rules on droid creation!!!! I can’t stress that enough. It can be very easy to miss something and make droids to scare the socks off of you. If you use the rules correctly, though, you get very interesting droids. The fancier you want it, the more expensive it’ll be.
After all that is said and done, this book also has a section on how to play a droid character. Very helpful. Then, like the cherry on top, the book ends off with an impressive 47(!) different droids that come ready made...stats, pictures and all! Effectively, this book covers just about any and every aspect there is on droids. A most worthwhile book!
