One of a small series of books that let’s you drool over a wide assortment of new equipment for Star Wars. This one, even though not named like the other, has probably the bulk of the new weapons and combat assorted items. Body armor, power armor, blasters, explosives….all of them are in here in some form or another. That’s not all that’s in here, though. There’s medical supplies, computer supplies, survival equipment, security stuff, and even really weird items.
Most all of the items in the book have a small picture associated with it, so you get some general idea of what it looks like. This is a nice touch, as your players (or you) can get fanciful visions of their characters wielding such weapons or gizmos.
Cost and availability go along with each item as well, along with a little ditty or two that talks about the item in a “story atmosphere”. Overall, it gives the book a nice flavor.
The back page has a little photocopy template for equipment you can make, or a little shopping list type of thing, but I’ve honestly never used the thing.
