Welcome to my personal "HALL OF FAME"

On this page I want to list some boots that impressed me the most in the last time.
They may have impressed me because of the soundquality or the music itself.
Please don't ask why I shouldn't put a special boot here, I think it's hard to explain...
It's about a personal point of view, but I think someone could find a good "trading inspiration" here. This site will be updated not too frequently, but when I got some boots that will fit here, I'll let you know.

Here we go :

BOB DYLAN - In Show and Concert -
2002-04-13 - Stadionsporthalle, Hannover, Germany
I was at this show and it was a magic moment, I can tell you. Everybody knows that :
you're going to a show and expect a lot, but when you get out of the hall, it was better than you would ever have expected. Bob and the band were in a great mood and during "Summer Days" they played a fantastic solo and were kind of jamming, it was amazing. The crowd cheered during that song and there was magic in the air. Everytime I listen to the boot, I get amazed...fantastic piece of art.

JUDAS PRIEST -
2004-08-18 - Live at the Molson Amphitheatre, Totonto, Canada
Fuck yeah...the Return of the Metal Gods...I saw them in Hannover at the first Reunion-Gig, so I'm a part of Metal history, I guess. But this boot has a really great sound and it's perfect when you want to catch the magic they still have. The tracklist is awsome and Halford is good at voice.

ICED EARTH -
2004-05-14 - Commodore Ballroom, Vancouver, Canada
Another old-school diamond. Iced Earth team up with Ripper Owens. Is Ripper just a Halford clone or did he a bad job with Judas Priest? I would say no. He's a great singer with a brilliant voice. And the songs of ICED EARTH always hooked me up since day one. So this bootleg has to end up at my Hall of Fame. The sound is very good and it's surely fun listening to it. Some old stuff, some new stuff and as a highlight the complete "Something Wicked"- Trilogy and "Gettyburg 1863"-opus in its full beauty!  Bang your heads, dudes!!!

HATEBREED -
2004-06-19 - Live at Waldrock, Bergum, Netherlands

No "new" band excited me more than HATEBREED. I started with their latest output
"The Rise of Brutality" and got caught in that Metalcore or what you will call it.
Short, direct, straight to your face and more brutal than the most things I heard before.
The lyrics are worth listening to and the music is just bonecrashing. If you want to get rid of you stress and anger buy this CD and mosh it all away!
This boot captures them live at Waldrock and gives you a great overview of their songs.
Aggression, brutality and great lyrics. What more can you want?

FINNTROLL -
2004-06-19 - Live at Waldrock, Bergum, Netherlands
How to describe FINNTROLL to someone who doesn't know them? I don't know, really.
Maybe : some crazy guys make aggressive Black/Death/whatever-Metal and mix it up with some parts of Humppa, Polka and traditional russian music.
Whatever...this is the most interesting crossover in the past few years. Open minded metalheads should give it a try, definately. A band made for the stage. They always make me wanna dance...

That's it for now, but I'll be back with some new boots.

And remember : copying official stuff and selling bootlegs sucks...May these motherfuckers burn in hell...
