The photos above are from our breakfast at "The Haven".  The boys have been eating very well thanks to the Councils of the Diocese.
Most every weekend in November and December the Knights of Columbus were well represented at "The Haven" for different events.  14 of the Diocesan Councils sent funds, as well as a couple of  members, to help support a Christmas Dinner at the "Haven" on December 23rd.  We were able to cook the dinner for just over $100 and we were then able to give the Director $300 to go out and get a present for each of the boys. 
To date we had two members donate their own artificial Christmas Trees (One for each unit), collected 3 boxes of gifts and activities for the building, cooked Christmas dinner, and paid a staff member of the Haven to cook Thanksgiving Dinner and paid for the supplies.  We were also able to organize an evening with our State Boysville director and his wife to go down and decorate with the boys.  We brought hot chocolate and cookies, and lots of lights for the boys to use.  Everything went great.

Tip to Raise Donations

Council 11581 had a parish festival at which they set up a Knights of Columbus table and a Boysville table.  They told the parishioners about the Haven and about the wish list.  From that they received several donations for money and equipment for the haven and have set up a tour date so that the parishioners are able to go and understand more about the building.
