THE BEGINNING: The Groove Belly name came out of nowhere and seems to be everywhere. This group of musicians got together in November of 1998 and released thier first cd with Una Pez Records in April of 1999. Their time in the studio was limited, but in less than 100 studio hours the album was completed. The producer, Randy Pearman was their link to success for the recording. His patience and tolerance was greatly appreciated.

8/23/1999: Already over 1200 cds have sold to the public! Thanks to all the loyal fans! The Groove Belly groupies are sure to get a thrill from the next album; due to be released in July 2001!

9/31/1999: So far the Groove Belly cd can be purchased at Chart Records in Danville IL, CDNow.com, CDUniverse.com, CDWorld.com, KTel.com, Buymusic.com, UnaPez Records, Theorchard.com, Amazon.com and many other online stores. The future Groove Belly releases will be listed on these sites as well, by July 2001! The self-titled Groove Belly cd can also be purchased on this website...

5/6/2000: Groove Belly will be recording a new 4-5 song demo beginning May 6th, 2000. The recording will be done in Champaign, IL at "POGO" Studios. The producer for the album has many credits to his name - he originally produced the band HUM's demo before and after signing with CBS records. He has worked with many of the best and is looking forward to recording Groove Belly!

12/4/2000: Groove Belly will be performing at the "Milwaukee Metalfest" On August 10&11, 2001. Look for us there! Ask at the next show for your tickets, or email us for more details. They are only $56.00 each! That is 2 days of Metal for less than a hooker!

4/2/2001: Groove Belly will be at "pogo" studios beginning April 2, 2001 to begin the creation of the next album! Look for this one in stores soon!
