D*Note is a brilliant british acid jazz drum&bass band from England
under the figure of musician and film-maker Matt Wienevski (Matt Winn). The
band originally emerged out of London's rare groove scene, with the 1993
debut LP Babel, recorded with the assistance of DJ Charlie Lexton and
Outside's keyboardist
Matt Cooper. They have 4 albums and their main vocalist was Pamela Anderson,
Jhelisa's sister and
main vocalist on
Incognito's "Everyday"
album. Their last album released in 2002 is called "Fuchsia dog", it's a
little bit more electronic than the others and includes the vocal participation
of Anita Kelsey. |
