She is an american singer based in England like her sister Pamela, from
D*Note, and her cousin
Carleen Anderson.
She grew up in Kentucky, then moved to LA but ended up odd-jobbing, washing
dishes, even selling whoopee cushions door to door. And just as Carleen had
done to such effect, she crossed the waters to England. She became famous
with The Shamen a tecno-dance band, and then she signed for a solo album
with Dorado records. Nowadays her eclectic style is one of the most appreciated
in the acid jazz circuit. |
