He was married to Mathilda Wilcox on 28 Sep 1865 in Mason Co., Michigan. ⁽²³⁹⁾ Mathilda Wilcox was born in Dec 1842 in Michigan.⁽²³⁹⁾ She died on 15 Jul 1916 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan.⁽²³⁹⁾

He was married to Mary Walker on 30 Dec 1868. ⁽²²²⁾

The Michigan IGI lists a marriage of George Norton and Mary Walker on 30 Dec 1868. Since George was married to Matilda in 1880, there is some question about this. The 1870 Census should be consulted. Mary Walker was born in 1842 in Michigan.⁽²²²⁾ She died on 15 Jul 1916 in Eaton Rapids, Eaton Co., Michigan. ⁽²²²⁾ George W. Norton and Mary Walker had the following children:
