61. Caroline Grovenburg was born about 1836/37 in New York. She died before 1860. ⁽²⁶⁷⁾ Because Caroline Cournell does not show up in the 1860 Census, she is here presumed dead. Her child is probably the child Jane McCornwell [sic] age 5, b MI, who is living with probable grandmother Catherine Grovenburg.

She was married to Lafayette Cournell on 8 Apr 1854 in Kalamazoo Co., Michigan. ^(268)(269)
