1998 Passport to World Band
Radio - Review of Yacht Boy 500.
The page contains
a couple of errors: The script under the photo says the YB360 was also
built in Portugal, it wasn't! It is made in the Far East. The other error
is the review of the YB360 at the bottom of the page. Although styling
is similar to the 500, the 360 is in fact based on the YB400, with fewer
facilities, eg/ no bandwidth options, and no SSB unit.
Overall, however,
not a bad review for the YB500, 3 stars, and 5th in category of compact
portables in the 1998 issue of Passport to World Band Radio.
