Satellit 400 - 1986-1989

2 versions of this set were made: The "Professional" version, which was sold in Germany, had SW coverage of 1612-26100 kHz, and the "International" version, for all markets bar Germany, which had full 1612-30000kHz SW.

Specification:

Styling: Basically a restyle of the 300, the keys are different, more as a result of increased facilities and performance, than the need for a change in appearance. The colours and detailing have changed significantly however, making this a much more appealing and expensive looking radio than the rather drab and uninspiring 300. Of course, deep inside the case there is much more to be found, like SSB/BFO, 2 timers, electronic band selection and SW dual conversion.
