Zhao Wei/Vicki and Lin Xin Ru/Ruby: Friends or Enemies?
I've heard rumors about Vicki and Ruby not REALLY being friends although they say they are. I'll give you some facts and you tell me if they're friends or not. First of all, they have different groups of fans. Those that like Vicki don't like Ruby, and those that like Ruby hate Vicki. Second, their fans are also always comparing the two of them. Third, for the new series, Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng (starring Vicki, Ruby, Alec, and some others), Qiong Yao (the director and also the director of HZGG), asked Vicki to sing the main song to it, also called Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng. BUT, Ruby came out with a song first called Yun Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng. Coincidence? I think not. I'm not going to say that they're enemies, but it's obvious that they aren't friends either. I think they are like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera - not friends, not enemies, but rivals. My guess is that they say they're friends because it would look better for them. After all, they play as best friends on "Huan Zhu Ge Ge".
Who does Qiong Yao favor?
People are saying that Qiong might just favor Vicki over Ruby. She's denied it, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. My guess is she liked them both when they began working on HZGG 1, but maybe after a few stunts Ruby pulled (coming out with a song that was only one word different from Vicki's Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng, might be just one of her stunts) or maybe her personality or attitude, Qiong Yao does favor Vicki over her. Why else let Vicki sing the two main songs for HZGG 2 ("You Yi Ge Gu Niang" and "Zi Cong You Le Ni") and only let Ruby sing the more "minor" songs? Also, she wanted Vicki to sing the main song to Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng. Lastly, Qiong Yao wrote a song for Vicki when she broke up with her boyfriend, but I've never heard of Qiong Yao writing a song for Ruby (besides on HZGG). I don't know all the details, but looks to me that Qiong Yao likes Vicki better than Ruby. |
