Blair and Deana were sitting together on the couch in the safehouse apartment over the club. Blair had Deana's hand in his in an effort to comfort her. He could see that the was distressed and needed the reassurance. "Deana, everything will be okay, Jim is a very good cop and he will make sure that no one will harm us."

"I know Blair, I can feel it from him. He is a special man isn't he?" Deana squeezed his hand, "So are you, I can see these animals, I think that they are your spirit guides, following the two of you. Jim's is a black jaguar and yours is a wolf. There is something special about the two of you isn't there?"

"Yeah, there is something about us, but I think that I should talk to Jim first. He has a big say in this. Do you understand?"

"I think that I do," she then lays her head on Blair's shoulder and closes her eyes. She had developed a big headache over the last hour and something else was nagging at her. She sensed something else that she couldn't explain. Almost like there was another mind that she could feel. She also felt that feeling as the university coming from two different directions, one from a student named Steve, and another from one of the new students from her class. A woman named Emma if she wasn't mistaken. She had made a note of it because she had never felt from others.

Blair removed his hand from hers and wrapped an arm around her to hold her close. Even though he knew that she had the power to take care of herself if she needed to he still felt the need to protect her. This was a feeling that he had never felt before, stronger than with other women that he had known over the years with the exception of his mother, Naomi. And that was something that he hadn't expected to happen.

Emma and Brennan were sitting together in the silver Audi listening to the two upstairs at the club. "Did you catch what Dr. Sandburg said, Adam?"

Adam's voice came from the ring, "Yes Brennan, I heard everything."

"Adam, I wasn't too sure I was really seeing it but I have also been seeing the jaguar and the wolf." Emma added.

"Dr. Greenwood is a telepath as well as a telekinetic, If what I am suspecting is true then psionics can see spirit guides. I also now believe that the detective is a sentinel and that Dr. Sandburg is his guide. Maybe it is time for us to contact the doctors and the detective. They need to understand the threat that they will be under if they are discovered by the GSA. We need to get the three of them to Sanctuary. This is the only place that we can make sure that they are safe. If the detectives vision is true, then the GSA is close to closing in on them. I will have Shalimar and Jesse meet all of you at the Double Helix. It will be landed on the roof of the doctor's warehouse and cloaked. Emma, I want you to approach them. Brennan you need to stick close to Emma, I have a feeling that this isn't going to go smoothly."

"You got it," Brennan says. The two new mutants step out of the car and head for the club. When they get there they are able to get past the officers posted at the door to the stairs leading to the apartment thanks to Emma and before long they were standing outside of the apartment door.

Emma knocks on the door and Jim answers, "Hello, Detective James Ellison?" The detective draws his gun and points it at the young woman. She is smiling an unthreatening smile. "My name is Emma, I am here to take you and the doctors to a safe place."

"This is a safe place, or it was." Jim said looking at her, how in the world did she get past the officers downstairs?

"Miss DeLauro?" Dr. Greenwood said from behind Jim. Then it clicked why she felt the way she did about the student. Then she asked amazed, "You are a telepath are you?" She then sees Brennan standing next to the woman. She senses something special about him as well. "You are like us as well, Mr. Mulwray, but different." that was a statement not a question directed toward Brennan. Brennan nods his head smiling.

Jim looks at the woman at the door and quickly back at Deana, "What are you talking about Deana?"

"Miss DeLauro is a telepath just like me! I can feel it!" Emma smiles at Deana.

"I am a telempath, doctor. Right now I have reason to believe that the three of you are not safe. If you come with me my friend, Brennan, we will explain everything.

Blair had over the past few years of working with his sentinel developed a guide sense if you will. Something told him that the woman at the door was telling the truth. "Your serious aren't you?" Blair directed his question at Emma.

"Yes I am, Detective Ellison, with your sentinel senses you must know that I am telling the truth. You as well doctor. I think that you can feel it too." The sentinel was shocked.

Jim did sense that there was something about the two at the door as with Deana. He had also believed Blair when he told him that Deana was a telekinetic. Something told him that he had better listen to what they had to say. "Okay, she is a telempath, Mr. Mulwray are you a telempath as well?"

"No, I have a more physical ability." Brennan then holds up his hand and sparks come out of his fingertips and form a lightening ball.

"Please come with us. We promise that all your questions will be answered. We also promise that you will not be sorry. Dr. Greenwood, it is especially important that you come with us. There are things that you need to learn about yourself that you don't know yet." Emma pleads.

"Okay Miss DeLauro, we will come with you but if you try anything funny....."

"Trust me sir, we only want to help all of you." Emma smiles. "One thing though, our location is a secret. For security reasons you all will have to be blindfolded." Emma holds out three visual cloaks. "These are called 'visual cloaks'. They are perfectly safe and they disable your vision temporarily." Emma goes over and places one on Dr. Greenwoods temple. The doctors eyes turn white. "Dr. Sandburg, I assure you that this device will not harm Det. Ellison." Emma then places the VC's on the sentinel and guide. She and Brennan take the three to their car and then to meet Shalimar and Jesse at the Double Helix.

"Let's go guys." Brennan says after making sure that their guests are seated. Jesse starts the jet and off they go to Sanctuary.

Jim hopes that he isn't making a mistake about going with the two. Four if you count the other two that he could sense in this strange aircraft that he and the two doctors were sitting in now.
