The Internet can be an untapped resource when it comes to finding songs to sing. The only problem is
where to start? There are tons of sites out there to look at - but they aren't all that great or that informative.
To make it a bit easier, we've taken some of the most informative and fun song sites out there, and listed them here for
you to use. Happy hunting!
Compiled by a Guide leader in Canada, this site has a ton of songs that are already sorted
into catergories to make finding a certain song much easier.
This site also has a massive number of songs that are sorted into different catergories. This
page also contains the additional verses to "Rose".
Compiled by the WAGGGS mailing list, Section 3 contains several links to various pages that
contain songs. Some are new pages that are not listed here. Check them out!
Sue has compiled an amazing number of graces here. Not only are the organized by title, but
you can also listen to midis of many and look at the actually sheet music. Many of her graces also
list the tune to make singing it and teaching it a whole lot easier!
This site has a nice compilation of the well-known Girl Scout Songs. Many of these are quieter songs
that can be used for the second half of campfire. It also has all the words to the songs from "Girl Scouts Greatest
Hits Volume 1".
The Rathfarnham Girl Guides have a great site that has an alphabetized list of the songs available.
While some are old favorties, others are very new! Take a look.
