Contestants for It
Just Ain't Right Week: X:
Ted Wells ($12,745, one game). O:
Francie Cartalano.
John messes up his opening copy, Peter
Marshall's video comes on screen, pound signs are used instead of
dollar signs, Baba Booey has a phone booth, Martin's video becomes
black and white, a different key panel is used, and Tom wears
shorts as Francie ties the game up with Warren, Martin, and Baba
Booey for $1000.
Rubber game goes to Ted, as he becomes
the first two-time champ in quite a while. Michael, Warren, and
Melissa give him another $1000. Francie leaves with $1000.
The steamer gets a break when we bring
out the safe full of $10,000 for the bonus round. He captures
Melissa, Kaley, Martin, and Charlene for four keys spotted. He
goes southwest... and wins L... err, $10,000! That puts him at
$28,522.
Standing between Ted and a chance at a
car is Melina Elle. She doesn't stand that much in the way as Ted
rolls to victory with Melissa, Charlene, and Gilbert for $1000.
Secret Square game is
for a Locman diamond aluminum watch. We stuff them in Baba Booey's
square. No one finds him... yet. We round out the week on
"Celebrity Squares" next time.

It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad
TPIR today, as Bethany Saxman almost got mad losing out on a trip
to New York playing Coming or Going. She did win a child's
computer desk, though.
But would it be child's play against top winner Shannon Mancz? The
teacher won a home gym, and then won a dinnerware set and a
motorcycle at Barker's Bargain Bar and $1000 at the Big Wheel.
Showcase 1 was mad, with an "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" DVD, a
portable DVD player, a trip to Madrid, and a Chrysler Sebring
convertible. Shannon tags it at $27,000, a difference of $8006.
Bethany prices her package - a bedroom with bedding and mattress,
an HDTV, and a Gemcar - at $14,750. Her price: $21,906. She wins
with $23,094.
Other winners:
Vanessa Bronte: Binoculars, a Pontiac Sunfire, travel mug,
dishwasher, and phone
Robert A. Wright: Day-sailor and a living room
Brian Timpani: Camping equipment, chest, dinette set, computer,
and $1500
Matthew Glaeser: Washer/dryer

rink" and burble "things on a birth certificate" for $1200.
In the second half,
Josh couldn't get the job done with Carl Lumbly ("Alias"), giving
his opponent Cindy the win, 16-15. She and Ricki get the $10,000

Claire Foundation) play "Friends of Friends Smarts" for charity.
They face Frank's new friends Shep, Angi, and Lindsey. James leads

Jane pairs up with Shep
while James goes with Angi. Angi gets it wrong with "Bell". James

We start with a new
contestant in the hotseat, Kathleen Daly. On the $2,000 question,
she asks the audience to know that "CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation" is set in Las Vegas.
On the $4,000 question,
she uses the 50:50 to know that the rest is the symbol for a
silent beat in sheet music.
On the $16,000
question, Kathleen calls up Rob to ask what 1990s movie won Oscars
for Best Picture, Actor, Actress and Director. Rob said "The
English Patient". Kathleen goes for her gut instinct and says the
"Silence of the Lambs" and she's right!
Kathleen kept feeling
confident and won $32,000 as she knew that Turkey's capital, which
used to be called Angora, was once famous for its fine wool.
Kathleen didn't get her $64,000 saying that the name of the Arab
television network Al-Jazeera literally means the eye. But it
means the island. So she leaves with $32,000.
Next up is Erin Hill. On the $2,000 question, she asked the
audience to know that Geraldo Rivera was the reporter who left
Iraq after he revealed troop positions while on air during Iraqi
Freedom.
On the $4,000 question,
Erin uses the 50:50 and then calls up her father Brian, to know
that the four major air currents that circle the globe at an
altitude of 6 to 10 miles care called the jet stream. Erin hopes
now she'll study meteorology more closely. She goes for $8,000 on
Friday.
