We have two types of service projects.
Current Troop Service Projects
These are projects that we all participate in like a team. In the past, the leader has acted as the director and the girls have filled in various positions. We like doing this type of project because we can get a large job done quickly. As the years have gone by, the leader has had to do less and less directing and more "just trying to keep up".
Past Troop Service Projects
We have performed several troop service projects in the past including cleaning up a beach that is a nesting area of endangered sea turtles. Get ideas for your group or just look at some great pictures.
Silver Projects:
This is the highest award that Cadettes can earn. It requires several steps as well as a service project of at least 30 hours of work which can be done in small teams. For a list of the requirements that we chose, turn to Go for the Silver. It give the girls a chance to direct their own projects. Several of the girls are starting to plan their projects. Listed below are several of their proposals. As the girls develop plans we will be publishing information.
