Events in March include:
Cookies will arrive some time at the first of March. We usually sort them at the church building and ask you to come pick them up sometime that evening. Mar 11 Cycling Safety and Etiquette. The FreeWheel Association which organizes a hugh group of touring cyclists that ride from the southern border to the northern border of the state. This lecture is a great opportunity for the girls to here from experts how to ride safely on the streets and highways. This is a requirement of the Rolling Along Badge. and is a great opportunity for the girls who want to ride in Europe. Mar 15 and 16 A campout with the Normandy Troop. This counts as a service project for several badges and for service hours in school. At our meetings, we will continue to work on our Silver requirements, badge requirements, our helmet safety event and trip plans. Not listed are the Normandy Troop's meetings which are on Sunday's at 3:45. If you want to come just let me know. This counts for a service project. An additional late breaking item is the Service Unit Campout March 9th. We hadn't planned on going since the Normady campout is planned for this month and our biking campout is the first of April, however, we have been asked to help with the day's program by teaching cooking methods on campfires. If anyone would like to assist me in teaching this session during the morning, I would appreciate it. Call me for further details.
