EVENTS AND PROGRAMS

We visited the Alabama Veteran's Memorial as part of the United We Stand badge. Awesome!

We performed a Flag Ceremony at the Trussville City Council Meeting as part of the Model Citizen badge. All the girls found it very interesting to sit in on that meeting and learned a bit about the city government. They even got to meet the mayor!

We represented Italy at the Service Area Thinking Day Event.
The girls earned this awesome Italy patch.

SERVICE PROJECTS

October
Spread the Bread. We baked pumpkin bread for the Trussville Fire Dept.
We even got a tour of the station when we delivered the bread! We earned a cute patch too!

March
St. Patrick's Day at the Birmingham Ronald McDonald House. We cooked a meal for the residents and earned the Let's Get Cooking badge in the process. We donated lots of soda pop tabs too! We all had a really good time and the residents really enjoyed it too.

April
Earth Day. We participated in the Trussville Earth Day trash pick up. This was a requirement for the Model Citizen badge but we did it just to help the environment. It was hard work but we all had fun.

May
Operation Happy Sock. We made 50 "Happy Socks" that were donated to the Birmingham Humane Society.
