Portland Portland is the industrially zoned island in Liberty City. This is where you start the game. The gangs in this island are the following :  - Triads  - Mafia  - Diablos Due to this, Portland is a dangerous breeding grounds for crime.

Staunton Island Staunton Island is a bustling commercial district in Liberty City. It's the second island in the game. The gangs in this island are the following :  - Cartel  - Yardies  - Yakuza Again, this makes Liberty City a more dangerous breeding ground for crime.

Shoreside Vale Shoreside Vale is a suburban residential area in Liberty City. It's the third and last island in the game. The gangs in this island are the following :  - Yakuza  - Cartel  - Hoods And once again, this makes Liberty City an even more dangerous area for crime to expand.
