The Grover Township Fire Protection District proudly protects 2,100 people living in an area of 19 square miles. Our department is a public department whose members are strictly on a volunteer basis. We have an ISO rating of 4. Our main sources of revenues are the 3 mill tax levy on real property, and contributions from the generous people living within the fire protection district.
The Grover Township Fire Protection District is governed by a 5 member board of commissioners who over see the financial operations of the fire department. The commissioners are appointed by the County Judge for terms of one to five years.
