Description: The Spiritual Evolution Medallion is a fine silver contest piece featuring a scarab beetle and the symbols om, a lotus blossom, and a ying and yang with a cross on one side and a DNA segment on the other. The latter symbol to indicate that there can only be positive growth with a balance between faith and science. This piece won an Art Clay Club Special Achievement Award in the 2005 Art Clay World, Inc. NAD Competition. The prize included a generous amount of silver clay I am still working my way through and for which I am truly grateful for. It has allowed me to create the Cretaceous Box without fear of running out of clay.
