This is Browns Lake with Timberline Lake just past it. Our backpacking group stayed the night at a camping site just a little ways above Browns Lake. We reached the camp site about an hour after this picture was taken and when we got there, it proceeded to rain for about three hours. Notice the snow on the right side of the picture. It was July 7, 1999.
