Our Guide  unit is very excitied about sending Blinky Bill and Skippy our mascots to visit different  units and Troops from around the world. The girls would love to visit different countries but there are a few problems with that.

*The girls are only 11-14 years old
                                * It will cost far too much for them to go
                                * Their families would miss them to much

So we thought that it would be nice to send our mascot to travel in place of us. Blinky travel's with his best friend Skippy. When they travel, they are sent in a box along with information about our unit and where we live, a photo allbum of Blinky's adventures, a camp blanket for the troop/unit to sign, a camera for the host troop tp take photo's, some post cards, swaps, badges, lollies for the troop/unit to keep.  (the lollies are Australian made.) We also include a journal for the hosting unit/troop to write about Blinky's adventures so we know what he as been up to.
( Blinky, you had better behave yourself!!) We like to do an even exchange.
