Stoutus (Dwarf Cleric)

We were going on a north ro adventure and the closest thing we had to crowd control was a bard. Incidentally the bard and Stoutus were in the same guild...Avenging Storm. Stoutus told the bard that he did not want her to mez adds because her mez was too low. Since the bard was new to LDoN she just pretty much followed his instructions. We got to the dungeon and went inside. The warrior pulled and here came 3 mobs. They were actually pretty tough mobs for a normal risk adventure. We tried to contain them but the first time Stoutus went to heal he had a mob on him...and Stoutus died before we really had a chance to do anything about it. Sooo... Stoutus immediately starts yelling at the bard for not mezzing the mobs. Although he does it in a joking way he is still YELLING it and being very sarcastic. He tells the group that he is not happy. He then told the bard that she needs to mez as if it was stupid of her not to try. The bard got upset because Stoutus was the one who told her that her mez wouldn't work. So the bard said that she would attempt to mez but there wasn't a very good chance of it working... Stoutus shot back that if there was just a small chance that it would keep him from dying that it was worth her efforts. So now the bard is disgruntled, Stoutus is disgruntled... the rest of us are holding our tongues in silence. Stoutus was bound in PoK and it was taking him a while to get back. As soon as he gets back to the dungeon he rezzes his corpse. As everyone knows if you rez yourself you lose all of your buffs. I asked him if he had Kei.... he said no he didn't have kei. I then asked him if he had been unable to find Kei... he said that he didn't even bother looking. My response was "That's really helpful" and his response to that was "lol".

So we all kept sitting there as the other dead person got back and got his corpse looted and rezzed. We had it worked out so that the bard would pull so that there would be a lesser risk of pulling adds. We were only 20 minutes into the Collect 20 adventure and ready to give it a second shot when Stoutus announces.... "I quit... I can't take this anymore." He then says that I was quite right and without kei he can't do anything... so he leaves the group, sending the bard more tells to express his disappointment in her performance. So now with only 20 minutes expired the adventure is over.... but the rest of the group breathed a sigh of relief as it was unanimous that we were tired of listening to him.

The bard was actually so upset that her husband came on and complained to their guild and Stoutus was removed from Avenging Storm. The next day I sent a tell to Stoutus telling him congratulations on getting kicked out of his guild and that I would not group with him and now there were several others who would not group with him. I then informed him that he was going on my ignore list. His reply was "lol". Of course some other guild members started sending me tells over the next few days asking me what the deal with Stoutus was... because Stoutus had been sending tells to every member of BMN who was online telling them that I was being mean to him and would not stop sending him tells. He then said that he was going to petition me. He might have been sending me tells but I don't know because I had him on ignore.

Now I've had 3 poor experiences with Stoutus.

1. I was starting an adventure group a few months ago and he agreed to come join. He was the first to say he would join. Then others started to come but Stoutus never showed up. I sent him a tell to ask him if he was coming and he said that he had a group that was higher level than mine. I became agitated because some of the people in my group only came because I told them I had a cleric and I had been waiting on him for 10-15 minutes. He found this unacceptable and got angry with me.

2. I joined a group that either he or a friend of his was forming to go to Plane of Mischief. It was my first time there so I wasn't sure where I was going or how to get out. Finally we get there and no one knows the way out. Being a rogue I decide that I'll scout around and try to find the way out while others are killing. After about 15 minutes Stoutus decides he's going to join another group and just leaves with the rest of the group. I have no idea how to get out so I get killed by sirens in CS. In this case I wasted my time as they personally invited me and then just ran off and wouldn't help me get out.

3. The adventure I've already mentioned.

Put all 3 of these things together and you have a player that is just not one of the better people to associate with on EQ.
