Norrath is changing.

A world that was once torn apart by race wars has learned tolerance. Humans and elven societies are in cooperation. The races of ogre and troll have lost their ambition for expansion. Dwarves show little concern for the world outside of Kaladim, just as the dark elves are scarcely seen beyond Nektulos forest unless hunting game. As each race endeavors to control the ever growing population of orcs and share their concerns over the growing prominance of humans, the importance of good and evil faction becomes less important... even irrelevant.

The lizardmen of Cabilis would say that their kind is despised throughout Norrath, but an iksar fighting beside a wood elf is no longer an uncommon sight to behold. The dark elves of Neriak claim that they cannot leave their underground home without being targetted by rangers with longbows, but it is no longer an oddity to see a dark elf splitting loot with a human after a dungeon raid. The line that separates good and evil is being erased as the ever increasing desire for profit and quality of life becomes prominant. The paladin's armor no longer shines like it once did...as the shadowknight's heart no longer beats as black. Good and evil become increasingly more relative.

Yet there remains a remnant of those in whom the truth is recognized and embraced. There is yet faction that holds to the ways of old and waits for every opportunity to show the world that "evil" is alive and well. Together they perform their dark works all across the face of Norrath, leaving death and ruin in their wake. Indeed, tolerance is not the theme of the dark society known as Black Magic Night.

The desires of your black heart have been ignored too long. Forsake the weights that tie you down to your life of purposeless mediocrity and indulge yourself. Let us receive you each as brothers and sisters into Black Magic Night, a guild catering to the dark arts and evil crafts in which we all strive to become masters. Don't be afraid to talk to our dark brothers and sisters. They don't bite...very hard! Come join our dark family and see where the power truly lies!

Black Magic Night was originally created by Bleustar, and has since been delivered into the hands of Senger Kathinak Jabiir. The guild is open to all races and/or classes that are evil aligned. Roleplaying is the main thrust of the guild, and thus roleplaying is not required but strongly encouraged. Our creed is to have fun while maintaining the integrity of this game which we all love.
