Member Promotion System

A new promotion system has been implemented for members of the guild. This system was invented to give special recognition to those guild members who are active and prove themselves an asset to the guild on repeated occasions. Promotions are given in the form of stars. One can earn anywhere from 1 to 4 stars. Once a member has earned 4 promotions (4 stars), he or she is eligible to become an officer should an open position be available. Only the Guild Leader can promote his members based upon recommendation and agreement from his officers.

Actions that might get a member recommended for promotion include being active in the guild and with other guild members, good roleplaying, good attitude, participation in guild activities such as meetings and raids, helpfulness in a time of need, and even performing consistently well in battle.

When a character is recruited in the guild, he or she will begin with no stars. The character will then be able to earn the promotion to 1 star, then to 2 stars, and so on. After a character achieves 4 promotions (4 stars), he or she can advance no higher unless promoted to officer.

For members that display instant officer quality, the guild leader may elect to place the member in "Acting" governor status. This means that the member is promoted without having to obtain 4 blood emblems. However, to secure the promotion 4 blood emblems are required.
