1. Joining

Read Joining Page.

2. Making Updates

Read Updates Page. Only one e-mail account per member. If you are discovered owning two gundams, both will be kicked from the RPG.

3. Training and Stamina

Training cannot be done until the pilot/ gundam is at level 10. However, when training can be achieved, all they must do is email a maintainer and they will be set up for training. Training is set for one week (7 days) and experience gained per training session is also a set amount (500 experience).

4. Statistics and Experience

Experience gained per battle is determined by what level the losing opponent is multiplyed by 100. The Losing opponent would gain a quarter of what the victor receives if he/she/it was not destroyed in the battle. (Ex: gundam A is level 4 and gundam B is level 6. Most likely gundam B is going to be the victor in this battle, so if gundam B defeats gundam A then he/she would receive experience equal to gundam A's level multiplyed by 100, which would be 400, and gundam A would receive 100 experience (400 / 4 = 100). In special occasions higher or lower than normal experience is gained through battles. Through dueling, higher than normal experience is gained by a quarter percent. Through blackout attack, experience gained is lessened by a quarter percent.

5. Battling

Combat is very important in age of war. The only way to reach higher levels is to fight to gain experience. To initiate a battle, email a writer (battle writer) and request for a battle. The battle will be written as soon as possible by writers. If your battle is not written immedietely it may be in line behind other battles that need to be written. When you email a writer, include information of what gundam and pilot you are, whether it will be a gundam battle or a pilot fight, where both you and your oponent are at (combat must be fought at the same location), and tell who you wish to attack. Also include what type of battle you wish it to be. The available battle types are included below:

Duel- The gundams or pilots both agree to battle in duel type attacks. Consent of both fighters must be given to initiate this, or else the request will be ignored. Experience gained with this type is usually somewhat higher than normal ambush or blackout attacks.

Ambush- One gundam or pilot attacks another without consent of both, only the attacker. Experience gained with this type is normal. Exceptions with ambush attacks are that an attacker may not make an attack on someone that is en route to a location or currently in training.

Blackout- A blackout type attack is similiar to an ambush attack, consent of only the attacker is needed, but with blackout type attacks the opponent never sees the attacker and therefore does not know who or what is attacking them. Same exceptions that apply with ambush type attacks apply to blackout attacks. Experience gained with this type is usually lower than normal.

6. Traveling

To travel, first look at the Traveling page and determine the length of time your travel will take. All travel distances are set and are not edited. To travel to some quadrants there may be special entrance requirements which require the gundam or ship flying into the quadrant to have some special equipment to enter the quadrant. If these requirements are not met and the gundam/ ship travels into this quadrant anyways, the gundam is either destroyed or stuck upon entry.

7. Special Events & Missions

Special Events and missions will be reported in the newspaper when one occurs. Missions may follow special events or some articles may lead into missions so keep special watch on the newspaper every week for any planned events, special events, or appointed missions.

8. Colonies

To purchase a colony, email a maintainer and include what clan is purchasing the colony or base and where it is to be constructed. Before building a colony, construction plans and materials must be purchased for the base to be built with. With each colony constructed a there will be three bases provided, however, these new bases will not be provided with defenses, defenses must be bought.

9. "Death and Destruction"

When a gundam is destoyed in a battle it is unusable for one week (7 days) and cannot be used until the week is over. The pilot is usually not killed in a gundam battle, but there are some battles that the pilot is killed along with the gundam.

When a pilot is killed in a battle or fight or reduced to 0 HP, they are pronounced dead for one week (7 days). To repair damage done to your pilot, you must either make your way to a hospital or have medical skill and heal yourself (the level of medical skill determines how much damage you can heal). Damages do impair your ability to battle, so it wouldn't be advised to keep the injury and keep fighting and get it fixed whenever (ex: if you have a broken leg, it's most likely that you will lose a fight).

10. Base Defenses

A base is given a certain amount of MSs and/or GMs to defend the base, additional can be purchased at the MS/GM Manufacturing Plant. MS/GMs are a base's defense against attackers. The gundams present at that base are also its defenses. If all defenses are breached by an attacking force or forces than that base it taken over and then belongs to the attacking party.

11. Occupations/ Rankings

Occupations are based strictly on joining clans. When a new member is initiated into the RPG he/she is placed as civilian status and receives no payed income until they see the clan president of their choice to request to join. Started ranking of the joining member is determined by the clan president. Once someone is initiated into a clan they may not resign from their occupation and join another clan unless they are kicked out of the clan for legit reasons (spying, denying orders, and trading sides, NOT because you have a personal disagreement with that person). To see the occupation list/ ranking system see the Occupations page.

12. Making Store Purchases

When you decide to purchase an item from any one of the stores, email a maintainer and include basic update information and what you would like to buy and how much money the item is, and how much money you will be left over with. Money may be lent to the purchaser only from fellow clan members, which it is then considered a clan purchase.

13. Clans

There are four set clans. Additional clans may not be created. As stated before, no non-clan members (civilians) will be given pay, only clan members will get a payed income every month. Clan president and/ or Vice-President have the main command over the clan that they lead. Clan President has absolute power over all lower ranks, and is the main decision maker of the clan, decisions made by the entire clan may also be made. If clan president is killed by another clan, then clan vice-president will fill his/her position. If Vice-President is killed, then Marshal will fill his/her position, and so on and so on. The clan president also holds the right to kick members out of the clan for legit reasons as he sees fit.

14. Capturing Bases

When a clan base is attacked and all defenses overcome (all MSs and gundams destroyed), then that base is overcome and now in the possession of the attacking clan. When the base is in possession of the clan who captured the base, the clan has full ownership of the base and may buy defenses for it and make any changes the clan president sees fit.

Another way to capture a base is to occupy a base that is empty or un-occupied. Doing this requires no fight, the base will automatically belong to the first clan member who occupies it. Clan president will have say in the bases occupation. This rule excludes empty clan owned bases.

15. Clan Economy

Money may be transfered within the clan to make purchases of higher value or whatever the treasury or president sees fit to purchase. The only exception to this is, money may not be given to the clan president for he/she to buy things for him/her self.

Money may also be transfered by making weapon/ item purchases within the clan. However, the two exchanging parties must be in the same location to make the transaction.

16. Special Immunity

When a special event such as a tournament or special mission is taking place, the gundams and pilots participating in this event will be given a temporary immunity from each other. In special events, they may still be destroyed if they fail their mission. Only when the event is taking place will they be given this immunity, being on a participation list for the event that hasn't take place yet, does NOT give them an immunity.

17. Cheating policy

For maintainers that choose to use their position to their own advantage, when caught, will be denied access to further updating priveledges. If that maintainer is also a member of the RPG, they may still be given the priveledge to be a member of the RPG.

If members are caught cheating (manipulating or tricking maintainers), they will be kicked immedietely from the RPG after being questioned.

Bounty List

The bounty list is an opportunity for pilots to make money off of bountied pilots. Civilians are given the right to participate in taking bounties. To use the bounty list, email a maintainer informing them of who you wish to place on the list. Include pilot name bountied, his/her gundam, and the bounty pay for the bounty. Pay for the bounty will come from the person posting the bounty. (Ex: pilot a places a $100,000 bounty for pilot b. pilot a must pay $100,000 out of his income to pay for the bounty reward). The person that takes the bounty (kills the bountied pilot) will receive the bounty reward that has been payed for by the pilot that posted the bounty. Minimum bounty is $15,000. The pilot that placed the bounty may not also take the bounty.
