BULLETIN: Editor's Note (*OOC*)

Speaking OOC here. The newspaper is fully IC. There are some things you should take seriosly and some thing not seriously. I made the newspaper to go along with story, kind of add a bit of feeling to it. If there's an article for instance, "New Earth Fed. Gundam Sabatoged by Zeon", it doesn't really mean that people from Earth Fed. need to get OOCly pissed off at the people at Zeon. Its a news article, you can take it seriously from and IC standpoint if you like, but don't let it cause troubles between people from an OOC standpoint. The newspaper was made to add some kind of conflict between clans however, so in fact, I DO reccomend taking some articles seriously, IC of course.

It is also wise to keep a good watch at the newspaper page, sometimes there may be a special mission or a conflict, or tournament announcement, or something else along those lines that will be mixed into news articles. This all goes into the adding story part of the newspaper, adds a little of realism too. But anyways, the newspaper is a weekly event, every week I will post up articles (or at least try) pertaining to events in the RPG at an IC standpoint. If you want to put up an article in the newspaper, you are more than welcome to write up an article and email it to me or send it to me over aim and I will put it up when the next posting takes place if the article is valid (or to my liking).

Now, Im going to go over the certain parts of the newspaper. The first part is usually the top story, you can think of this as the headline of the newspaper, the main event kinda thing. If there's going to be any kind of mission or announcement by a clan, its going to be in here. Next part is the articles. This is pretty much just your basic story articles, it can involve non-RPG IC events, such as my meteor shower story, and many other 'just interesting' articles. This is where I will let people make their own newspaper posts. I will usually take care of the top story, unless the story you give me is REALLY important. The obituaries announce deaths that happen in the week. Occasionally, an article will be written on the death of one of the characters, but this is usually based on importance and maybe popularity. Articles on deaths, I will also accept if I see them fit to be in the newspaper. The bulletin will be a page to make any personal clan announcements, an example would be.... say the Crossbones have an open position for treasury, or want somebody dead, they will put their announcements in this page. This page is pretty much strictly user based, if someone wants to make an announcement they e-mail me and I will put it up. And the last part, which still really hasnt been implimented yet, is the weekly poll. I may not have this sometimes, but what this will be is a question poll, and readers can vote their opinion. The poll will usually have something to do with the top story or an article or a current event going on.

To give me an article that you may want posted e-mail ME personally, not to the updater's box, I am not an updater, so I probably wont ever see it if you send it to the updaters box. My email is in the staff page, or on my pilot, Decius. With the articles, please make them IC sounding, and unopinionated. I wont put up an article if it is stupid, fully opinionated, or ranting pointlessly.

I hope this little guide to the newspaper has helped you understand it, not that there's really alot of explanation to a newspaper, but anyways, I just wanted to post this to give some guidelines and stuff. Happy RPing.
