Trowa's the boy without a past. His is forgotten and lost. He has no history, he has no
name. He can't draw back on a past and he can only work with what he knows.
As the third Gundam pilot he is a machine. He shows hardly any emotion and that
enables him to kill without compassion but there's a price he pays for it.
All his feelings build inside him and though he remains cool on the outside his inner
self is torn. Infact, I think there's only one instance where he laughs in the series
...I laughed, too.
His past is a tragedy for him (which is especially evident in the WIng Zero
episode) and despite all the darkness that haunts him and all the death that
surrounds him he remains essentially good. He still has the need to protect and
the need to save.
Trowa still recognizes sacrifice though; he knows that the mission comes first.
He and Heero get
along well enough -- they both seem of the same breed: Cold, emotionless, perfect
soldiers. They are not great friends but they are commrades. They acknowledge each other
because they know what has to be done.
Trowa and Duo again
are like commrades but not great friends. Duo is loud, dramatic and dynamic.
Trowa isn't. Duo tries to relate -- or at least get some conversation going but it flops.
Trowa and Quatre have an odd kinship to each other. They're opposites but they have
kindrid spirits. They're lovers of art together but Trowa, in the end, is hardened.
They probably have the closest relationship of all the pilots and this is where the 3x4
relationship is alluded to...
Trowa and Wufei are commrades. Nothing more than that...perhaps even less so than
Trowa is with Heero or Duo. Wufei's kinda the lone wolf left out guy in the series. His character
doesn't allow for much teamwork -- They get along okay, though. Maybe it's because Trowa's
"alone" too.
Trowa's sad clown persona seems to suit him. Silent, performing and wearing the
unchanging mask that hides his face, his self and his feelings safely.
