Sunday dawned cloudy and gray, more rain was expected. By this time the other players for the day had arrived.

After a brief introduction the first game was explained – two roughly equal sides with a Pyro to defend at each end of the land.

MAIN EVENT- “TMA & KK versus BUSHPIGS” by Lee (MARSHAL)

Team A: WRAITH, G-MAN, SAUL, BUTCH and CREASER
Team B: LonePig, APOCALYPSE PIG, NAPOLEON, ANDROID, STRACH
Giving Team B had a 4 point lead on HANDICAPS.
2 TASKS were on offer: FIELDCRAFT and PATROL

The game began with Team A deciding to send out a scouting pair (KK) along the low ground. WRAITH took charge and told them to “hit and run.” Meanwhile the BUSHPIGS chose to set up a defensive line, using the main trench as cover. Their sniper team (Apoc and LonePig) covered the high ground. While Jamie covered the PYRO. KK cautiously moved in, using the limited cover well. Nearing the bottom end of the trench, they spotted NAPOLEON and a brief exchange of fire followed. BUTCH taking out NAPOLEON from around 10m using a burst through a bush. KK quickly retreated, as planned.

Once WRAITH had questioned KK, he radioed in for a TASK. Choosing a FIELDCRAFT TASK, he was instructed that upto 3 points would be awarded for making a bunker. Setting to work, he constructed a new position, utilising a nearby BARREL. SAUL pushed forward on his belly, along the high ground to probe the opponents.
NAPOLEON cautiously approached the area he had been tagged in, with ANDROID moving along the bottom in support. WRAITH and SAUL decided to push up. SAUL was tagged after crawling right upto the front line. Meanwhile Wraith and Android took each other out in the centre.
Team A regrouped at their new bunker.

G-man and Wraith sitting on sentry while KK finished off the task. As the team carried on working, CREASER shattered the calm with a burst taking out LonePig, who had snuck upto only 30m away along the top path. 3 points were awarded for the now completed Bunker. Apoc and Android had also taken up position behind a series of bushes on the central ridge.

Wraith radioed in for the remaining TASK. He was informed it was a RAID and that his team would double any points gained in the next 30 minutes. Only 1 minute later, NAPOLEON also radioed in for the same TASK. This was the beginning of an all out Assault by Team Alpha. Saul and Wraith probed the bottom fenceline, only to come up against LonePig’s APS. They called for support from the flank team. Immediatly, fire rained down on Apoc’s central position, hitting him. Falling back, the BUSHPIGS regrouped near the pyro. Only Android remained, hidden by a holly bush. SAUL pushed forward to the tree only 5m away with Wraith in support. Android stepped out and tagged SAUL before Wraith retaliated with a burst of 0.25g’s that penetrated the thick bush and hit Android.
Strach taking up residence in the TIN BUNKER. NAPOLEON and ANDROID moved off along the top fence once they had returned to their TAGZONE.
