GAME 2 (by NAPOLEON)
The afternoon game was to be a pairs game – four pairs against each other. Jamie and I teamed up and took the edge of the land nearest the safe zone. Once all teams were in place, the game began.

We moved forward along the top ridge, quickly at first, then more cautiously – unfortunately not cautious enough! Again taking point, we heard firing up ahead. Trying for a flanking position we moved onto the top path. I was tagged out, and so was Jamie. Thanks to Wraith. Deciding not to re-enter the game there, we moved back along the top path.

On joining the game, we moved rapidly down hill and set off along the bottom path. Things went well until we reached the old fence. I moved forward, spotting two people standing in the bunker. Moving closer, I took up a position behind a low ridge – not realizing I had been spotted. Several shots came through the bushes, going past me and hitting Jamie. He retreated to the fence to rejoin while I waited in position, firing occasionally against the bunker. When Jamie rejoined I moved forward around the fence and downhill to the edge of the land, working my way forward. I found a reasonable position and began firing at the bunker. By this time G-Spot and his partner, CREASER had moved into the trench behind and below the bunker. In the frantic firefight that followed G-Spot and I managed simultaneous tags on our left wrists (and yes, I was firing my gun upside down at the time).

Rejoining, we found ourselves in the same positions. After a couple more tags each, CREASER retired and G ran away up the slope. Jamie, meanwhile had been tagged by Saul, who was now above us in the centre of the land. He rejoined the game and met up with me at the side of the slope, forward of the bunker. We heard Wraith encourage G-MAN into the open, and joined in the shooting. Wraith realized where we were and we began to take fire. We managed to move into the ditch behind the bunker, engaging Wraith and Saul at extreme range. Having been tagged out, Jamie was forced to rejoin further up the hill, leaving me alone at the bottom. Fortunately the game ended soon after. It became apparent that Saul and Wraith would have closed up to us eventually, although I think LonePig and ApocPig were above them.

A good game, just right for the number of players.Everyone went back to the safe zone, packed up and left.
