This page will be dedicated to the main character
in my book, Warlock's Wrath, Gill.
Gill's powers: When Gill was a little kid, he wondered away from a dance that was going on in his village. He walked away from the houses in the trees, and almost felt like skipping in the night air. He saw a light, and followed it deeper into the forest, and found a silver cloud seeming to rest on the ground. It spoke to him about emotion, elementals have no true emotion, yet this cloud, this air elemental had found it. It was dieing from the shock, and passed on all it's essence to Gill, giving him more power than those that usually just dedicate their lives to the elements.
Gill returned to the village, unknown about his power. He didn't know how to control it, so he created danger. Gill was banned from the village.
Almost a century later, Gill has learned to use his powers well. He aquires swordsmanship, and dispatches with evil minions on excuses such as "They would have ruined my vacation," or, "They were in front of MY treasure..."
That is how Gill got this power over the element, air.

Here's a profile with some information about Gill:
Name: Gill
Race: Elf
Gender: Male
Height: about 6 feet, 4 inches
Weight: Not pudgy, or too skinny, but he won't say
Clan: The Raijou clan of a misty forest, someplace where Canada used to be.
Wears: Gill almost always has his warlock's cloak on. It's a greenish brown, because he refuses to wear the blueish white of an air warlock. He says it gives him away in the forest. The cloak includes a hood that manages to stay on in the gale force of Gill's powers, and always keeps his hair messy.
He also wears a tan-colored shirt, made from the hide of a deer.
Real leather pants, the kind you get from a deer buck, that are reddish brown.
And he wears boots that are made from the scales of a couple Orcs, the scales range from dark red to dark green.
Weapons: A single longsword with oddly shaped Quillions, and a clear diamond on the end of the grip, used for channellling energies.
Jewels: As a Warlock, Gill carries a couple jewels as amulets to enhance his powers even furthur. Although he doesn't use them much to channel his abilities, he carries one pearl and a diamond other than the one on his sword.
Other things he carries: Gill does not carry much, though he has a small magical pack on his back, underneath his cloak that does not change it's size, no matter how much you stuff in it.
Unless he plans on going on a journey that he does not plan to rest long on, Gill hunts his food, killing it (usually rabbits, or deer for Gutira) with a single jolt of electricity.

Gill's personality:
Gill has changed his personality much during his life, sometimes gradually, sometimes faster. When Gill was a kid, and living with the Elves still, he was quite happy, and joyful. He didn't get into much trouble, that he got caught at anyway.
When he was banned from the village, he ran out. He was sad, but did not go for revenge. He still doesn't hold hard feelings for his brethrin. His soul became hard, and tough, losing his sense of humour, his manners, and his 'people skills'. Gill came across harsh and maybe even evil and uncaring to most people, even though he was perfectally good.
When Gill imprinted the white dragon, Gutira, his mind was changed. He became quite loyal, and much softer, though he still lacks manners. His personality now makes him seem ignorant, since he can't even ask for directions without scaring people; though the big white dragon taller than 6 feet standing behind an Elf in a dark, mysterious cloak doesn't help...
It appears that Gutira, newly hatched, knows more about manners, and politness, AND people skills, than Gill. Gill is rather funny to watch, even though he can't make a joke.

Likes: Gill likes to fight, and spar. He also likes hunting, and eating. Being alone, he has learned to cook quite well to his tastes, and use interesting and exotic spices with his meals. Of course, being raised in the forest as an Elf helps...

Bad habits: When Gill gets impatient, or mad (which happens when he's impatient) at something that he won't hurt or kill, he goes to a nearby stand of trees and flies above them, knocking them down with large bolts of lightning. He has managed to start several forest fires this way, which he has had to dowse with huge rainstorms...

Dislikes: Waiting. Gill is quite impatient. And people who talk funny, he tolerates bad english (he speaks his clan's tougue as well), but doesn't like it.
Sterotypes beware! Gill carries a sword, not a bow and arrow; he'll prove he knows how to use it too.
Gill also hates pushy people, and those that think they're better than him. They're not. If they do manage to prove they are, some trees are coming down. (see bad habits)
Other abilities: Gill is practically a master swordsman. And is quite fast. Being an Elf he is also gifted with increased sight, and hearing, as well as special 'forest know-how'. And a really cool thing, he can walk on snow without using his powers. Yup, like Legolas in 'The Lord of the Rings', minus the long blonde hair, funny clothes, bow and arrows, and weird 'goodness' aura...
