The Official GWA Rumors Page Containing Possible Things To Look For At Up And Coming Shows.

Val Views: Week of 4/01/01

This is Mr. Val and I'm going to have to do the rumors from now on, since Richard Stevens went to the mental institution.

GWA News

Hirings - There were two hirings this, Rockie and Eclipse. It turned into a huge bust because he wouldn't stop trying to get into other people's storylines. He was fired. Eclipse on the other hand made a sucessful GWA debut at Wrestlefest II when he cost Skitzo the Mental House Death Match.

Firings - From the obvious Rockie firing, there was one other firing. Hawk quit the GWA because he was "in too many feds." (That is one of the worst excuses I ever heard! But what are ya gonna do.)

GWA Site News - With Wrestlefest II over and gone the GWA Payback site is being worked on constantly and is due to be up early Sunday morning or late Saturday night. Also, the new roster pages are up and should be completed soon. Third, the GWA is trying to become an affiliate of IWN, a news site similar to The Source run by Vicious Vinnie. We should make it in.

Rumors

Bill Ingram - Bill Ingram lost his European Title last Sunday Night at Wrestlefest II and wants a Hardcore Rematch against Jack Blackman. With the match, the GWA might give a push to the European Title, or the loser might go for a higher title, possibly Intercontinental. And with The Triple Threat breaking off and Nemisis and Death Knight doing their own thing, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw one of three matches for Ingram at Payback. Bill Ingram versus Weapon X for the Intercontinental Championship, that is if he still has it. Bill Ingram possibly taking on Jack Blackman, with either one having the European Championship. Or Bill Ingram against Death Knight, in a grudge match or for the European Championship. It should be interesting to watch this.

The Triple Threat - With the shocking official formation of The Triple Threat and ending of the Innovators of Violence a number of things could happen to culminate at the Pay-Per-View. Tha B.M.F., EZ-Punk, and the before mentioned Bill Ingram can do a number of things together or apart. They could take on Nemisis and Death Knight and possibly Da Kid. Da Kid is in the middle of the joining process as it seems here in the GWA. But no matter what happens it looks like there will at least be one match at GWA Payback on April 29 which will pin two former IOV members against eachother

Boomer - Boomer currently has no storyline. I wouldn't expect a repeat of the Specialty Match Championship Match from Wrestlefest II so the doors are wide open for Boomer. He could go for the World Title, the Intercontinental Title, or the Tag Team Titles with Beachdude. I would expect Boomer to go for the GWA World Championship before the other two because a Boomer and Bezeker match will be the kind of match where anything can happen by puttin two of the best in the GWA together for the biggest prize in the GWA.

The Small Print

Blue Dust will face the Gold Meanie at Payback, with the official announcement of the match to come. But if it is for a title or not is another story.

GWA Spring Break is between April 23 and April 29 and will end with GWA Payback.

The Very Tough Censors will stay strong even with the abscense of our leader, Richard Stevens.

Da Kid will probably sign this week and Ryan Elias will probably be released.

Don't expect the tag team of Chazz and Death to become out of contention for the Tag Team Titles any time soon.

That is the Val Views for this week. You can check Richard's Reprots below.
