Greetings and warm wishes for the month of October. This month we have the Masked Revel on the 21st. It will be held at the Elgin Club in Elgin, AZ, the same site as our upcoming Yule celebration. We also have the demo for the greyhounds on the 28th at Ft. Huachuca.
    October 31st is New Year's eve in the Celtic calendar. That eve the feast of Samhain was held as a pagan festival to remember the dead. Samhain is also the third harvest when in former days animals were slaughtered and their meat preserved for the long winter ahead. So be of good cheer for  Samhain is near!

Unto the Populace of Mons Tonitrus, Bannthegn Selina Marie Sinclair sends Greetings!
    It is wonderful to take notice that so many are working on their names and devices. I have been given this most wonderful new job. I now have the backing of Their Excellencies to Beat the Populace into Submission! Do you have your name and device? If not, are you working on them? If not, I will be looking for you!

Help Wanted

    Volunteers are needed! Please donate 30 min of your time to our children. The two age groups are: The Children's Corner, for children age 4-9, and a Youth Center, for those age 10-16.
    For the Children's Corner volunteers are needed to oversee the children. Also if you would like to teach a class, entertain, conduct a hands on project that would be even better.
    For the Youth Center for those ages 10-16...classes are needed, performances are needed, storytellers are needed, SCA 101 is needed, demo's are needed.........We have 48 slots to fill!
    So please will you donate 30 min for the Youth of the Known World?
Teachers can be all ages.
