From Our Arts & Sciences Minister

Greetings unto the populace of BMMT!!
Allow me to introduce myself and my Drop Dead Deputy. I am Sioban Machille Fhionntaig and my Deputy is Ruan MacCumhail. We are your humble Arts and Sciences folks. Being brand new to this office, we're still learning our way around but we're confident that its going to be a lot of fun. And what's going to make it fun is LOTS of audience participation. We need volunteers and do bees to teach classes and give demos of the miriad of skills this awesome barony possesses. We've already penned in our glorious Baron to teach/demo after Southern Crusades, so don't miss the boat.
Feel free to email, snail mail or call us anytime...just not after 9:pm....with ideas suggestions and a willingness to roll your sleeves up. Lets move and shake this Barony!!!
On a personal note, I would like to thank Baron Master Odinele, Baroness Judith, Lady Meadhbe, Lady Francesca and m'lady Catria for the lovely gifts that we took to Caid for presentation. We couldn't have done it without you. And thank you to Lord Shamus for teaching his class in SCA 101. A refresher is good for all of us.
And on a final and different note, I have been in touch with Lady Sorcha, the Kingdom A&S Minister. She and I have discussed compiling a book of childrens stories and poems for firesides and such...So I call to all bards and poets...please get with me and we can talk about this on a baronial level and see what we might be able to come up with!!
Keep up the good work everyone. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours In Service To The Dream!!
Sioban MacGhille Fhionntaig

From Our Marshal

To the Barony of Mons Tonitrus and all who read these words I send thee
greetings,
I wish to introduce myself as the new Baronial Marshal, if you haven't realized or noticed by now. I am in the process of getting warranted so new fighters can get authorized in a timely manner.
The Southern Crusades is November 10-12, so I hope all who wish to fight in both hardsuit and fencing battles will be ready beforehand. This means that armor, fencing attire and weapons are battle-ready and all individuals are
authorized. Please get with me if you have any questions, comments or suggestions regarding the martial arts.
                In Service,
                Lord Marius
