HISTORY
Founded in the year 2000, the Young Democrats are established to inform the student population about today's politics from a liberal standpoint. In-school activities include frequent meetings, voter registration, hosting professional speakers, and political displays throughout the school year. While outside of school, the club participates in assisting campaigns and attending political events. The Young Democrats feel that all future voters should be properly informed about their elected officials, both local and national.

In today's world, politics play an enormous role, and the Young Democrats hope to encourage the political involvement of the student population. The sponsor is Ms. Claudia Finley.
