BEGINNER - New swimmers & any swimmers not yet ready for intermediate. Swimmers will improve on the skills they bring to the club, eventually learning the correct technique for all competitive strokes. Improvement will be directly related to the number of practices the swimmer attends, their ability to follow instructions, the attention paid to the coaches, & their eagerness to learn. Swimmers should attend at least two practices a week. First time swimmers are not required to compete at meets, but may do so. This is a 45 min. - 1 hour session.

INTERMEDIATE -
Swimmers will enter the intermediate group once they can display proper technique in the competitive strokes, follow instructions well, and show an eagerness to improve. Intermediate swimmers should attend at least two practices a week & compete in meets and championships.
This is an 1 1/2 hour session.

ADVANCED -
Swimmers must know all competitive strokes proficiently, attend practices on a regular basis, and be able to complete a demanding practice. They also are expected to attend all swim meets and compete in the season championships. This is a 2 hour session.

Coaches will determine when a swimmer is prepared to move to a more difficult group. On occasion, a swimmer may be moved to an easier practice if it will benefit the swimmer.
