The Space Quest IV


WALKTHROUGH!!!


That means if you don't won't the whole game spoiled for you, you might want to go back.

So here it is! The walkthrough to Roger Wilco and The Time Rippers. Starting... NOW!!!!!

YOU ARE IN SPACE QUEST XII - XENON SURFACE

This area of the game is basically a nine grid square.
Say it goes like this... B1 stands for block 1 and B2, block 2, and so on. This will help you navagate through this area.
BEWARE THE CYBORG THAT IS WALKING AROUND. IF HE FINDS YOU, YOU'RE GONE! ALSO BEWARE THE DROID-O-DEATH! HE SHOOTS YOU ON SIGHT!!! WITH THAT I SAY, GOOD LUCK.

(AFTER THE OPENING SEEN AND OUR MAIN MAN, GARY OWENS, STOPS NARRARATING)
So you start out in B2. Proceed left so that you are in B1.
Next, open the compartment in that broken down skimmer. There should be a pocket pal portable computer. Take it, you'll need it later (a heck of a lot later, that's for sure).
Now, move up into B4. There's a little hole in the heap of stuff. Click the HAND icon on it and there should be a smaller screen that shows a can (for further awareness, the object is a can of unstable ordinace... be careful).
Pick up the can. This will give you about 15 or 20 more points. Unfortunately, if you keep it... you will surely DIE!!! So put it back. Whatever the amount of points it gives you, you will lose it all except for 5 points. It's a lot of trouble for just 5 points but hey, 5 points is 5 points. C'mon!! Give me a break!
Next, go down, right, and right again, so that you will be in B3.
In the front of the screen, there should be a rope. Pick it up. Now go behind the red building, so that you won't be seen. Oh, while your beside the red building, take the time to smell it and taste it.
Stay there until the Droid-O-Death flys by. It'll give you more points.
Set out the rope in front of you. You know that annoying little energizer bunny that's been running around? Here's the chance to get 'em! When the bunny comes by the rope, click and pull the bunny up with all your might.
That's it. Now that you have the bunny, in your inventory, look at the bunny. Once you see his battery take it out and put it into the pocket pal.
Now, head up one and you should be in B6. There is a metal grate. Click the HAND icon on it and it should take you underground.
Once you're underground, you'll see a table, a holodeck toward the top of the room, and on the left, there is a sealed door.
Take the jar on the table and then click on the mat. Underneath the mat is a button, and you will automatically press it. The button activate the holodeck.

(THIS IS AFTER THE MAN FROM THE HOLODECK TALKS)
Now go to the sealed door on the left. HAND icon on the door and Roger should start turning the handle.
Once inside and after "OH NO! THE DOOR IS LOCKED AND THERE'S NO WAY BACK! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO THIS TIME?" there are a series of underground sewage lines. Follow these like you do the outside part of the land. So now you start in B6.
(There are several ways of getting through this area but this way is one of the fastest.)
Head up, so that you are in B9. Now proceed left until you can't go any further. You should be in B7 by now.
This next part may be a bit tricky. It's more so for some people than others.
Make sure your jar is in the inventory screen. Now go south. Slime starts coming out of the grate on the wall. It will follow you into B4. Once in B4, get the jar and scoop up the slime. Right afterwards, move into the right area of the screen so that the slime will keep going downward while you're safe from being deteriated into goo.
You should now have some slime in your jar (you'll need this a lot later, as well).
Now then, climb the later and you're almost home free! (Not from beating the game, of course. You still have a while to go for that.)

I do believe I'll just have to finish this walkthrough later. Right now I'm going to have to work on something else.
