THE RAVEN (10cm x 15cm Scraperboard 1999) An illustration for Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem. I love working with scraperboard. The rendition of lighting effects can be quite stunning sometimes. Whether or not this works is not for me to say, but I like it. The Raven looks fat and wicked, and not as if he wants to budge any time soon. copyright Roddy Williams@1999
