Dear friends,

We hope you were able to take some rest during the summer. We are sorry for not having sent you a report for the two last months, but three of us were on vacations in Canada and when we returned home, we were caught by tons of work.

We had the privilege to receive the team "Haiti '99". They had 34 members from different churches in Quebec, New-Brunswick and in Ontario. It was an excellent team. They worked in various areas. The medical team composed of a dentist, a medical doctor and three nurses took care of about 1,000 patients. Some evangelized in the streets and in the ravines. Others went to a jail where 107 women, children and teenagers were held. Most of the women attended the meeting. It was so uplifting to hear them singing and praising with all their hearts. Their pastor said that a few weeks ago he had just baptized, in water, 29 of them. In a corner of the chapel, we improvised a medical clinic. We also handed out many copies of the book "Prison Chains Broken" written by Ernie Hollands.

The team members did a great work. They made 26 benches, 4 tables and a piece of furniture for the sound system. During the six day youth camp, the teachings were very fun and colored. A clown cheered up the kids and we were able to feed hundreds of them. When it was time to say good-bye, we were sad and thought how good it would be to have a team like that to work with us full time. They really marked the kids lives.

This year, Pierre, Max and Louise took vacations in Quebec. They helped our daughter Naomi who is still sick. Please pray for her healing. It is so sad for her to have to lay in bed or on the couch all day knowing that she cannot accomplish anything. While visiting some people living in the ravine behind our house, Michel has broken his right hand. He spent three weeks in a cast. He is healed but it still hurts.

In closing, we would like to say that without your spiritual and financial help, it would not be possible for us to work here. Thank you for your faithful support.

WOULD YOU PLEASE PRAY FOR :
- Our visas and permit to stay in the country.
- A pastor to replace us when we go on home
assignment in the year 2,000.
- One or two Volunteers in Mission to join our
team.
