Haligonian Farm has purchased a share in the Dark Design Syndicate. Ten L's Splendor's Dark Design is a yearling bay pinto, winner of the AMHR National Weanling class and also winner of the AMHR Area weanling class.  He will be shown both AMHA and AMHR in 2002 by Laura Tennill. The syndicate would like to thank both Judith Jay and Laura Tennill, both of KY, for the opportunity to be a part of this syndicate. More Information

 

~ Stallions At Stud ~


Breeding Terms:

$100 non-refundable booking fee. Stud fee includes 30 days board after which time the fee goes to $3 per day for dry mares and $5. per day for mares with foals by side. Mares are required to have up to date Coggins and Rhino vaccines. Individual turn-out is provided.  Live Foal Guaranteed.

Foaling Services:

Haligonian Farm offers total foaling services to outside mares. Our $300 fee includes a 10X12 foaling stall, round the clock care with wide angle TV cameras in each stall and 30 days board. After 30 days, mare care is $10 per day. There is also individual turnout for each mare or hand walking, whichever the owner prefers.

Aloha Ashley Acres Tyger Whoods has joined our herd.  He is a 1997 27.75" black stallion by the champion stallion Ashley Acres Bruzzie.  This is one of the most refined little stallions we have ever seen.  He has a tapered little muzzle and an ultra long neck set high on his short backed refined body and just the right length of leg to make this a wonderful little breeding stallion.  $300 to the first three mares of the season. Haligonian Targets Stormwatch

AMHA/AMHR reg. 1998 31" chestnut pinto by Haligonian Moving Target and out of the 30" bay pinto, Tahoss Queen Bee. This is a colt that belongs in the show ring.  Deluxe herd sire prospect - he is the kind of horse that will improve your herd. We showed him at the last show of the NYSMHC season and he took Reserve Grand Junior Stallion. Wonderfully refined, upheaded, small and elegant. Standing at stud until sold - fee $300. Priced at $2500 or Trade for Good Quality Mare.

Haligonian Hallelujah Hank
Standing At Stud Until Sold: 1998 -30.5" Bay medicine hat tovero son of our own Lucky Four Haligonian. Hank has had an accident and has lost his right eye surgically.  We have lowered his price to $3500 to reflect this defect. It doesn't affect his breeding prowess. DNA'd with the overo gene.  First foal was a carbon copy of himself, only in black and white (pictured below). Stud Fee - $500

Lucky Four Triple Tuff has arrived at Haligonian Farm! He's a 31" 3 year old buckskin pinto son of NFC Rowdy's Thriller and a grandson of Rowdy.  Haligonian Farm and Margot Spangenberg are partners in this great stallion. Jennifer Lilly, Bristol Valley Training Center, will show him this summer. Thank you to Wade Burns and Jon Woodring of Lucky Four Farm for allowing us to purchase Lucky Four Triple Tuff. 

 

Lucky Four Haligonian
1991 AMHA/AMHR 32.5" blue eyed, few spot overo appaloosa. Consistently produced overos, pintos or pintaloosas. Shown successfully in Country Pleasure Driving. We have retained several of his offspring. Lucky Four Haligonian is by the tiny few spot appaloosa, Hidden Meadows Plain and Fancy who is out of the leopard daughter of "Chianti," Hidden Meadows Plain Jane. Lucky Four Haligonian is also out of the appaloosa mare, Fishers Foxfire. There are only two non-appaloosas in "Hal's" pedigree. Sale Price: $3500. Stud Fee: $500.
