2002 Daytime/Construction Pictures
Here's the first picture for the 2002 season. It's one of the many Halloween horror nights billboards that are popping up all over the central florida area that feature the Caretaker. This one is on Ronald Reagain Blvd (SR-427). This is a cheaper one compared to others. It's just a poster, while others have effects like light up eyes.

Construction for the facade of the Maximum Carnage Maze
Here's a pile of crushed cars that was found outside the Carnage maze. They'll probably be used in it.
The fly pods from the Makeup show in Universal Studios. They were found outside of the Carnage maze as well.
This is construction on the inside of the Carnage maze. I wonder if they'll put up dividers between those pipes? Otherwise, I think it would be a lot like 2001's RUN.

It's the construction so far on the Scary Tales II Haunted house in the Popeye quene line.
Below the blue curtains, you could see the props and set of Bill and Ted's Execellent Halloween Adventure. It's MIB themed if you can't tell.

The entrance to Scary Tales 2...a contuination of last year's Scary Tales.
These are the steps leading up to the start of Scary Tales 2. Located right after the last picture. From what I've heard so far, this haunted house is almost all outdoors. What if it rains???

A view of the Project Evolution Haunted House. It's located on the Tricertops Discovery Trail or Tricertops Encounter, or whatever they call it now. Since it's outside, I guess it's another one that can be closed if it rains.
I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I think this is a picture of the inside of the Scream House. It's built in a soundstage, and its where the Caretaker hangs out...Your Time Has Come!

From what I could tell from this picture (remember, I only took the pictures with the white text), I think this is the entrance to the Scream House.

At Universal Studios too, Halloween Horror Nights merchandise is for sale. It looks like mostly shirts.
Here's a close up of one of the shirts. Personally, I like them a lot better than previous years. It looks really well designed, where in previous years, they just printed the HHN logo on the shirts.
Another cool Halloween horror Nights shirt. I think this is the first year that they are selling more that one version of each shirt. It kind of reminds me of the same shirt that they sell during the day, only with the evil Halloween Horror Nights characters instead...Unless it's on the back, it looks like they left out the Caretaker

Some more Halloween merchandise sold in Universal Stores. Looks like some of the Caretakers buddies. I wonder how much more they charge for these compared to other stores out of the park?
Looking in the park, here's the torture devises that they set up.
See how security gets all hiped up for halloween horror nights. I guess they don't want anyone coming in with a gun and setting it off. Last year, they used hand held metal detectors.

A crashed jeep in Jurassic park with even more decorations on it. (I've gotten a few questions on these jeeps. NO, they are not normally there.)
The Haunted House based on a game show. This is where the Fear Factor haunted house is. The Thunder Falls resturant is closed with the house inside.
Looks like a good (maybe) hiding place in Jurassic park...
They built this bridge espically for the Project Evolution Haunted House. it goes into Tricertops encounter.

I'm not sure what this is. It could be a fog machine, but someone was telling me that the Lost Continent had these places with big fireballs that would explode every so often. Could this be a machine that makes these explosions???
Looks like the last minute problems are being worked out...

I wonder what else it could be. Seems kind of close for it to be something that makes big explosions.

The park is about to close for the normal day. Halloween is starting to take over. See the giant pumpkin?

Some more last minute repairs. From what I could tell, this guy is fixing a welding machine that makes sparks.
