| The Story you are about to read takes place shortly after the Halo: First Strike Novel . If you have yet to read the novels then you will be confussed by some referances made in the story. Prologue: Master Chief and the crew of the Gettysburg has just entered SlipSpace on their way to warn Earth. Suddenly, a copy of Cortana informs them there is evidence that a Covanat Cruser followed them into the void. "Battle Stations!" MC yells (with the real Cortana in his helmit). On his way to his station, Sargent Johnson accidently bumps into the container holding the Fragments of Dr. Halsey's crystal. A Large Bright Light appears as they fragments touch. Everything moves in slow motion and they all black out. |
