03-17-01:  Greetings all.  Well last got the counter working again, and had to put up a new message board.  Found a copy of the Dungeon Boardgame rules thanks to Sa'taine Sxerks.   Planning to upload some files next week of various stuff, working on a 3rd edition yahoo messenger skin.  Well back to it.  Thanks for stopping by.  Best Wishes, Halzmar

3-30-01:  Today's update brings the return of the Ring of the Archmage link and the Greyhawk Portals webring.  Also going to rearrange things a bit.  Will soon be uploading a yahoo messenger skin for RE2 to a new Downloads section (yeah it's not Greyhawk but it's the first skin I've made; a 3rd edition D&D one is coming as soon as I can get a scanner).  Also planning on adding some 3rd edition content (mainly modules) soon.  As always best wishes and hope to see you again soon.  Halzmar

04-01-01: Short update today. Updated the links in the Links section and added the artists names to the pics in the magic visions of Greyhawk section. Also updated a few things in my Wishlist section. Looking into adding a new webring and making an exchange banner for the site. If anyone has some free licensed artwork they'd like showcased or a webring email me. The new messange board is up if anyone has any suggestions for the site such as what kind of content they'd like to see. As always best wishes, Halzmar

06-19-01:  Short update today.   Trying out a new header format and a table to list all the content.  Haven't updated in a while been bummed that I got ripped off on a trade the guy never sent the items he was supposed to so I'm out a copy of Dragonlance Classics and the A3 module.  Due to this the trading policy has changed.  I'll need to recieve the items before sending out anything.  This is thanks  to Daniel Caius Mason of Indianapolis, IN.  This is the only dishonest person I've met in trading D&D items on the internet in the 3 years this site has been online, but stuff happens.  Anyway planning to get the IM skins up this week so stop by soon.  As always best wishes, Halzmar

03-07-02:  Getting back into the swing of updating this site.  Feels good.  Going to break it into various sections such as my new Chainmail Section, and a 3rd Edition Section which will contain ALL the D&D articles such as House Rules, an Random Encounters Charts, NPCs, Conversions and the like.  Just taking a while to get all the info together and of course convert it to html code.   Hope to have everything together by April or May.  For now enjoy the site and as always thanks for the support.  Best Wishes, Rob.

03-24-2002: Quick update today. The index page has been converted to html (I hope :) Castle Greyhawk is going 3rd edition next weekend with converted monsters, prestige classes, spells, and html Random Encounters of the Flanaess. Till then here's a Mist Wolf Preview. As always thanks for stopping by and thanks for the support! Best Wishes, Halzmar
04-07-2002: The 3rd edition index should be up and working today. I'm very pleased with the new format. Also recently obtained a scanner so for the chainmail/miniature fans out there I'll be adding some scans of my minis. In non-gaming news my construction company has really picked up business in the last few weeks :) so updates will be coming as I can get to them. Look for the first installment of the 3rd edition Ruins of Castle Greyhawk in the near future. As all ways thanks for checking out the site. Best Wishes, Halzmar.

07-14-2003 Not much upodate today just placing some links. Been working running a small construction company lately which takes up most of my time. Have had a blast playing 3rd edition which is why I don't know about 3.5 Some changes will probably be good like a will save for the harm spell but others are likely unnessessary. We'll just have to wait and see though. As all ways thanks for checking out the site. Best Wishes, Halzmar.

08-29-04 Greetings and Salutations. As real life marches on I find myself with less and less free time. As I'm sure most of you know co-creator of the Dungeons and Dragons game Gary Gygax has had a number of health problems starting with a stroke a few months ago, and most recently with a mild heart attack. My dad had a stroke in 1997 thankfully he was able to make a full recovery, I wish Mr. Grygax the same luck. As alway best wishes and thanks for the support. Halzmar
09-03-04 Greetings and salutations. Updated the Link page today. Lots of links have soured in the five years this site has been online. Still to paraphrase a poem - though much is taken much remains - so check it out. As always best wishes and thank you for the support. Halzmar.

01-14-05 Greetings and salutations. Updated my greyhawk webring and Maldin's Greyhawk's link on the link page - thanks Denis for the info. I do not usually pimp products on this site especially for free but I have to give props to the Mozilla web browser. Much superior to the internet explorer browser. Comes with a built in pop up blocker and a lot more. Check it out and you won't be disappointed. Work has slowed down a bit for the winter and I finally recieved the payment for my last project so I may have some time to update the site, though the need to eat and pay bills means going out and hustling up some new contracts and staying in the rat race :) Anyway happy new year and best wishes. As always thanks for the support, Halzmar.

11-05-2005: Greetings and salutations. The site nears 10,000 hits and I'm really pleased about it. I can remember when the counter turned 10 and I'd like to thank everyone who has stopped by over the past few years for it. As always thank you for the support, Halzmar.

11-06-2005: Greetings and salutations. Just uploaded the Tower of War level 2 to the Castle Greyhawk Ruins conversion section. Will try to get Tower of War level 3 tomorrow. As always thank you for the support, Halzmar.

12-25-2005: Greetings and salutations. As we approach 10,000 hits I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and my best wishes for the new year. As always thanks for the support. Halzmar.

03-07-2006: Greetings and salutations. Wow. We made it 10,000+ hits. In celebration I've added a flash game from Artix Entertainment called FireSpawn. Enjoy. They have an undead hunter game as well I'm looking to get uploaded soon. As always thanks for the support. Halzmar.

7-15-2006 - My wife who played a big part in the promotion of the site and I separated on May the 29th, 2006. We were married for six years and together for eight and I miss her. Anyway I digress and I thank you for your continued support I'll update soon. Halzmar

12-18-2006 - For me it all started with a sentence listening to NPR radio in the late 70's - "In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit". See I was not happy growing up were I spent my childhood where there were at the time only three things to be into - nature, sports, and church. I didn't fit in as a kid or at least that's the way I felt at the time - I wasn't from the area originally, I made good grades, my dad didn't work in the coal mines, in short I wasn’t an ignorant hick. My only escape was books from that place. I read voraciously mainly fantasy and sci fi because I didn’t even want to be on the same planet as those type of people.

When D&D came along it was great. To be a character in one of the stories, the instant camaraderie between those who play and those that didn't, to feel for the first time that I belonged, that I had friends, and I was appreciated, and I could be me and still be liked as a person these things to a nine year old kid invoked a powerful appreciation, and God know how I'd have ended up without it.

It's been a privilege to know my fellow gamers, to sit at the table and share good time, to read really cool scenarios and run through them with the people I have over the years has truly enriched my life. Good genuine people who are consistently honest, hard working and loyal friends these are the people I’ve met through my hobby. It is a privilege to know these people. Having a hobby itself is a privilege, and since I left home in the early nineties I worked hard over the years and never put my hobby in front of earning a living, getting my education, and being a responsible adult - paying my bills, my rent, my car payments, and all those other adult things.

Too often I had to miss my hobby and my friends because of work especially last year when the money I was working my fingers till they bled and sacrificing my leisure time was going to sponsor things I shouldn't have been sponsoring because I earned my right with my wits and my labor to do as I pleased with my earnings and that wasn't my choice for my money to go to something that stupid.

I accept everyone's hobby that they work hard and use their earnings to enjoy partaking - golf, roller skating, a bobble head collection, losing class C motocross races year after year, race after race, whatever no matter how stupid I personally may think the hobby to be; but if you can't afford your hobby because you are too lazy to get a job then it's unseemly to criticize what we who earn our own way in this world do with our money and our leisure time when we are the one's who pay the social security and Medicare taxes which prevent certain lazy people from starving (and yes certain deserving people who aren't faking and have real disabilities, but who I am talking about to is not truly disabled but faking it, thus not deserving of government assistance, nor private charity). In short forget about the mote in my eye and look to the beam in yours. At least I pay for the privilege to have my hobby myself and I am at least good at what I do.

That’s my rant. Had to be done. Have a good holiday season. I thank you for your continued support I'll update soon. Halzmar
