My first sight of the totally nude Jimmy Lin.

I still could remember the first day when I meet Jimmy Lin in person. It was the day when I reported for my pre-enlistment Medical Check-up.

I was not a fan of Jimmy, although I had seen him on TV a number of times before I first met him. To me then, Jimmy Lin was just another popstar. I do agree that he is charming and handsome. On the other hand, I did heard some rumor about this young heavenly kind, but ignored them because those rumor had got nothing to do with me.

I could not figure out that was Jimmy when our eyes met together un-intentionally that day. I just though that it was a familiar face, and was unable to identify who he was. My classmate ,Chan (who went for the Check-up together with me that day), spotted that it was Jimmy and told me during the check-up process. He then came out with an idea about how we could find out, on that particular day, Jimmy Lin's sexual preference. I laughed at Chan's appearing nonsense and unnecessary ideal, but yet I did what he told me to do later.

What I did was that when the medical personnel ordered us to take off all our clothes, had a peek at the totally nude Jimmy Lin's sexual organ to see whether there was an exertion. I peeked and noted that it remained soft, just like anyone of us there on that day. (This was what Chan suggested earlier. According to him, a homosexual or bi-sexual man will not be able to control his sexual organ in front of so many nude men, particularly all of us are young and some of us have quite attractive looks.)

Come to think about it now, in fact, I need not peeked at Jimmy Lin that day to confirm his sexual preference. The Medical Check-up was so comprehensive that any person with abnormality (including sexual abnormality) will be identified. Such persons are exempted from Military Training in Taiwan. The fact that Jimmy Lin was enlisted for Military Training later is one of the best evidence that Jimmy Lin is not just a normal person, but also a healthy person, both physically and mentally. In fact, the state of Jimmy's health has been not just good, but outstanding. The Medical Authority of Military Services in our state rank the soldiers "Jia", "Yi", "Bin", and "Din" (in ascending order) according to the soldiers' health conditions. Throughout his Military Life, Jimmy Lin was ranked "Jia" !

On our way home after the Medical Check-up, Chan told me that it would be wonderful if he would be doing his Military Services with Jimmy Lin. He would then be able to find out all details of Jimmy Lin's daily life (such as, How Jimmy looked like when he is sleeping ? How Jimmy Lin looked like when he is showering ? etc., etc.,). I was not of the ideal that it is of any significant for me to track Jimmy Lin's details, but did not blame Chan for his though. It was just his personal attitude, and our attitudes do differ in many aspects. It was unfortunate for Chan, as he was not posted to the same unit as Jimmy Lin. Whilst, incidentally, I became one of Jimmy Lin's buddies during our Basic Military Training period.
