Handsboro Presbyterian Church

About Us

Handsboro Presbyterian Church is a small but unique USA Presbyterian church located on Pass Road in Gulfport, MS, just west of Cowain-Lorraine Road. The congregation worships in a historic building that is over one hundred years old.

Handsboro Presbyterian Chruch was designated as a Mississippi Historical Site by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History in 1984. We have a long history on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Hurricane Katrina damaged us, but did not destroy us.
We are back, better than ever, with all damage repaired, thanks to visiting teams from around the country who came to help rebuild the Coast. Our steeple that was blown off has been replaced, and our prayers again reach into Heaven.
We continue to grow, and are perhaps even stronger because of Katrina.

Handsboro Presbyterian Church welcomes visitors. You don't have to be of the Presbyterian
faith to come to our church service. All you need is a desire to come and worship.
Unlike large churches where you may disappear in the crowd, here you will feel right at home.

If you have driven by and seen us on Pass Road across the street from the Gulfport K-Mart (close to Lorraine and Pass Road) and wondered what kind of church we were, you may want to stop by one Sunday and see for yourselves.

If you are looking for a church home, or just a place to worship,
we welcome you to become a part of us.

We also host a singles group for people along the Gulf Coast. For more information, check out our blog at:
