My en femme name is Hanna Joy and I
have been a TV for eleven years now. I first went out when I was 14 and I am 24
now. I was quite lucky because my mum kept all her old 60's 70's clothes in my
wardrobes, as she did not have anywhere else in the house to put them. I
selected a few pieces and because she used to be an Avon lady she had stacks of
make-up left over.
"My Mission" When I was 14 and trying to get to London ( 30 min's
away by train) I thought I could get clothes there and not be noticed that
easily. After a mile walk in her boots my feet were killing me so I had to
return home. That was the last time until four years ago. I left school at 16
and had a full time job. This gave me money and I started to realise that I can
get the clothes that I wanted.
I told my then girlfriend about my little secret and she just
laughed at me when I told her. We went shopping allot any way and I always gave
her my advice and pushed her to buy things I thought were nice, and no it had
nothing to do with our being the same size in clothes and shoe size. I went out
with her for two years after that. I only had clothes and shoes at this
time.
I made
friends with another girl at work and I thought she was cool and our friendship
grew. I told her that I was a TV because she and her family were so liberal I
new I could tell her. She was great, she phoned Janet Scott and we went to a
meeting in a London pub near Regent Street. But before going to the meeting she
had a conversation with Janet and Janet was most helpful, she told me how to do
my make-up and where to get the special stuff she uses.
I went on my own to Carnaby Street
to get a couple of wigs and the summer sales had just started. I got loads of
stuff. We went to the meeting she got something new and I went en femme. I did
not like some of the people there! I don't know if was because it was my first
time at a meeting or the way most dressed, mainly the national presses general
expectation of what a TV looks like. May be this is because I like to get as
near to Real Woman looking as I can get and won't go out unless I think I can
achieve this.
I am
now at University as a mature student and I had to get rid of everything before
I went. I had already told my mum but she went ballistic she thinks that I have
given up but I cant wait to leave home and Uni so I will be able to dress up
when I like.
My
style is that of general late teens to mid twenty's and very fashionable, as I
shop at Oasis, Next, New Look, Logo, Marks & Spencer and for shoes Faith
and Dune. I've started to build my collection up again but have put on a bit of
wait due to sheer beer drinking at Uni this past year. I used to be a size 14
and have size 8 feet but I'm going to sort my wait and shape out this year.
I really enjoy
clubbing and shopping and really want to attain a more realistic look.
