The Day he stole Hearts at the Piano

It's held on 11 Nov 04 at Bugis Junction. A pity, it
wasn't publicised. Only shoppers, passers-by & some fans saw
the full version. We only get to see the edited version on TV. Still, Hanwei
carries our hearts away... |

Hanwei was shown playing 2 solo pieces,
"Spirited Away" & "Gymnopedie no. 1"
In the finale, he was accompanied by the Director
of the Music School who played the violin. According to Hanwei they only knew
each other for a day & practised together for 1 day. They played
"Prelude No.1" to an enchanted audience

The recital was a
success but Hanwei felt it wasn't good enough from the professional
standpoint. When asked what's his dream. He said that he dreams of owning a
see-through coffee house in the middle of the sea. In the coffee house
there'll be a transparent piano that he could play music for his
customers.... |
